· 12 Oreos*
· 2tbs butter
· 15 Oreos
· 200ml whipping cream
· 200g cream cheese
· 100g powdered sugar
1. Finely crush Oreos for crust. Melt butter and mix with Oreo crumbs. Firmly press into the bottom of a 7-inch baking dish.** Place into the fridge to cool.
2. Beat the whipping cream into stiff peaks. In a separate bowl, combine the cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth. Fold in whipped cream into cream cheese mixture, working in thirds.
3. Coarsely crush Oreos for cheesecake. Fold in Oreos to cream cheese mixture. Pour on top of crust.
4. Chill cheesecake for several hours, or overnight before serving.
*Noir Black Cocoa cookies may be substituted for Oreos.
** A cake pan or a square baking dish will work.
